Philosophy

We are a two-person studio built on the belief that wavy, curly, and coily hair deserves the same level of scientific consideration as any other biological material.

Our work is rooted in observation, structure, and response—approaching hair not as a trend or aesthetic alone, but as a complex fiber system influenced by chemistry, environment, and care practices.

Both partners are currently studying with the International Association of Trichologists (IAT), focusing on hair and scalp health through clinical and biological frameworks. In parallel, one partner is pursuing advanced education in cosmetic chemistry, with an emphasis on formulation science and ingredient behavior as it relates to textured hair.

Together, we bridge practical application and scientific study—translating research, education, and ongoing training into individualized care for wavy to coily hair.

Our philosophy is simple:
